Alana De La Garza is a beautiful actress that is leaving a mark on the small screen. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican-American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. De La Garza moved soon to Texas, where she studied in physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas just a few months before moving to Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of character roles including commercials and local independent movies. Her passion for acting quickly grew in the field of acting even in tiny parts. Then she moved to New York. Her first role was on the soap-opera All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she had small parts in JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first major series appearance was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear alongside a number of the famous TV celebrities including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch. In 2006 she was the lead character A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared for 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in her role in the Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. The character she played has earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television by the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The actress was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza, in an recurring role on CSI Miami was announced a moment or two later. She was Marisol Deko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent appearance on TV was as Dr. Lena Solis on NBC's somewhat dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older sister Cory was born 10 years younger than her. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano began her acting career aged seven when her babysitter joined her in an audition. Four girls selected out of over 1,000 applicants were chosen by Milano. Milano performed in television advertisements and on off-Broadway plays, among them the very first American musical version of Jane Eyre.
